ABOUT RÍO 1854
More Than a Restaurant, an Experience
Where Flavor
Meets the River
A Name with History, A Place with Flavor
Founded on the banks of the St. Croix River, Río 1854 was created to celebrate the spirit of Stillwater and the rich flavors of Latin-inspired cuisine. Our name pays homage to the year 1854, when Stillwater officially became part of Minnesota. It is a tribute to the history of this river town and a reminder that every dish we serve is rooted in tradition, community, and the beauty of the St. Croix.
Our Cuisine Style
“Our menu brings together the best of land and sea, with grilled meats, fresh seafood, roasted chicken, pastas, and Latin inspired classics. Every dish is crafted with care, fresh ingredients, and bold flavors designed to be shared and enjoyed.
